HOW DOES IT WORK? When you arrive for your booking, you will be greeted by a staff member who will provide you with all your protective equipment and weapon of choice. You will then receive a health and safety briefing and be shown to your booked activity.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY? ALL bookings can NOT be cancelled and are non-refundable. For single session bookings, if you provide more than 24 hours notice, we MAY be able to offer a reschedule on your booking. For multi session bookings, we would need at least 7 days notice to be able to offer a reschedule.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS? The minimum age to participate in our activities is 12 years old. Anybody under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION? This activity will run for 15 minutes per person. If you have booked for 2 participants, you will both get 15 minutes in the activity, but we only allow 1 participant at a time for Health & Safety reasons.
CAN I BRING MY OWN ITEMS TO SMASH? Yes, but you MUST check with us first. There are many types of items that we can't allow you to bring. So simply give us a call, text or email and we will let you know.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE BREAK ROOM? - Do NOT wear open toed shoes, sandals, flip-flops etc. - DO wear comfortable closed toe shoes. - We recommend that you wear full length bottoms and long sleeve tops. - We provide all PPE, Boilersuits, Gloves, Hardhats and Safety Goggles which MUST be worn during the activity.
DO YOU ACCEPT WALK INS? Yes, but to guarantee your activity, we HIGHLY recommend that you pre-book online, as we can not otherwise ensure activity or staff availability.
CAN I DONATE ITEMS TO THE BREAK ROOM? Yes please! We are more than happy to accept item donations, but we are restricted on what we are allowed to take. Please give us a call, text, or email and we will let you know.
CAN I TAKE PART IF I'M PREGNANT? No, due to the nature of rage rooms and to be in accordance with our insurance and Health and Safety compliance, we cannot allow pregnant people to take part.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING? No, we will ask your name to confirm the booking, and will provide all you that you need for the activity.
CAN I BRING MY OWN TOOL TO SMASH WITH? No, we will provide you with a choice of tools to suit your smashing needs.
Sensory Issues? This activity is loud, messy, and adrenaline filled, and you are required to wear ALL of the PPE provided. If you are triggered by sudden loud noises, broken items, surges of adrenaline, or by wearing helmets, gloves, etc. Then we recommend you do NOT try this activity.
ARE LOCKERS ON SITE? We do provide secure locked storage areas for your belongings, these are to used at your own risk.
CAN WE FILM OURSELVES IN THE ACTIVITIES? No, we don't allow you to film for health and safety reasons and to prevent any damage to your personal belongings. We do have CCTV in our activities and you can purchase a digital copy of the video footage, just tick the "Smash Cam" option when booking.
GDPR? When booking or creating an account, you have the option to opt-in for marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from these by clicking unsubscribe on the bottom of any emails or informing us at info@the-break-room.co.uk. Any and all personal information is stored securely on encrypted devices and through encrypted servers.
